Sogbu.ph is a food blog built on one simple goal:
to find meals worth getting full for.

The name comes from “busog” that deeply satisfying feeling when you’ve had enough, when the food hits just right, and you can’t take another bite. We flipped it, 90s-style, into something playful, a little nostalgic, and unmistakably ours.

We’re a group of friends who share one thing in common:
we love to eat, and we take that seriously.

From local carinderias to rising food spots, from hidden gems to well-known favorites, we explore places not just for the hype, but for the experience. The kind of places that make you pause mid-bite and think, “Okay, this is worth it.”

Where We Start

Our journey begins in Pampanga, the culinary capital of the Philippines, where food isn’t just food, it’s identity, history, and pride.

From there, we plan to go further:
across the Philippines, and eventually, around the world.

At the end of the day, Sogbu.ph is just a group of friends exploring flavors, sharing real finds, and chasing that feeling of being truly busog.
